RAD M42 HELMET

The RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) helmet is a difficult to find model, even if it is a M42 model!

From 1935 till almost 1940, German helmets have 2 decals. From 1940 till early 1943 they have only one decal. The national colors, where no more placed on the helmets. From 1943 on, they where no more decals placed on helmets, except the SS helmets (Waffen SS and Generale SS).

The M42 helmet is the most easy to find helmet, but not if it is a RAD model! Very common to find are, Heer ore Luftwaffe M42 helmets. RAD original helmets are difficult to find, with the original RAD decals, because, the RAD used most of all, the standard helmets of the Luftwaffe!
